Brandon brings 20 years of experience in health care and a track record that includes 300 successful PR engagements, more than 50 crisis situations, and nine political campaigns.

Launching ReviveHealth is the latest move in a long career in PR and marketing for founder Brandon Edwards. Brandon’s leadership style sets the tone for ReviveHealth’s professionals – hard working, dedicated, and approaching every day with a sense of humor. Treating people the right way has produced successful agency results and incredible work for clients over the years.

Since founding ReviveHealth in 2009, Brandon’s leadership has led the firm to unparalleled recognition in a short time. ReviveHealth was named New Agency of the Year in 2010 by the Holmes Report, Fastest Growing Agency in the U.S. in 2010 by O’Dwyers, Best Boutique Agency to Work For in 2011 and 2012 by Holmes Report, and the 11th Largest Health Care PR Firm in the U.S. in 2011 by O’Dwyers. ReviveHealth was also recognized as one of two finalists for Boutique Agency of the Year for 2011 by PR Week and Boutique Agency of the Year for 2011 by Holmes Report.

Prior to ReviveHealth’s launch, Brandon served for eight years as the President/COO of Davies and senior strategist for the firm’s health care practice. Brandon also oversaw the firm’s professional management team, and during his tenure at the firm, that agency was awarded Agency of the Year twice, Best Agency to Work For in four consecutive years, and overall Best U.S. Consultancy to Work For in 2007 by The Holmes Report.

Prior to joining Davies in 2002, Brandon oversaw crisis communication for Tenet Healthcare. At the time, Tenet’s operations included 116 hospitals in 19 states, and Brandon oversaw litigation support, medical malpractice issues, union issues, CON battles, hospital closures, M&A, managed care contract disputes, and other high stakes, defining issues as the Senior Director of Operational Communications.

After completing his MBA at UCLA’s Anderson School, Brandon joined Tenet’s Corporate Strategy and Venture Group, which managed the corporate venture fund and analyzed large strategy opportunities for the company. Brandon’s nine portfolio companies included digital imaging, structured documentation, and physician office Rx dispensing, among others.  Prior to his tenure at Tenet, Brandon managed political campaigns and worked as a district representative for a member of Congress. He also worked at a public affairs agency in the mid 1990s.

Brandon is a featured speaker for PR trade groups, as well as SHSMD, AHA, ACHE, Healthcare Roundtable, The Governance Institute, HASC, BAHCCA, and VHA.  He is an active member of the Council of PR Firms, HFMA, SHSMD, PRSA, and the Nashville Health Care Council.  He lives in Nashville with his wife and three children.
